Starting this winter semester, erp4students will offer a brand new course in the field of SAP’s latest product called SAP Business ByDesign (SAP ByD). As one of the first vendors at all, erp4students allows students to gain in-depth competencies in this new area of SAP software.

Business ByDesign is a flexible on-demand ERP solution which can be used via an internet browser. It was designed for small and mid-sized businesses, which makes it especially interesting for those students who know that they do not want to work in big enterprises, or who want to make their way into self-employment. All important business processes can be handled with this software: marketing, human capital management, logistics, controlling, data analysis, reporting and many more. Compared to on-premise ERP-systems in big enterprises, the implementation of SAP ByD is by far quicker and easier. There is no need for complicated customizing, and the system allows that new modules and applications can be added at any time without big effort.

In the course, students do not only get to know important theoretical contents regarding SAP ByD. They are also confronted with complex case studies and business scenarios from the areas human capital management, project management, logistics, controlling and data analysis. Additionally, they will be asked to autonomously solve a business scenario in SAP Business ByDesign CRM on Demand.

After finishing the case studies correctly, participants receive a certificate issued by the University of Duisburg-Essen.
