This Monday, the erp4students program for Spain and Portugal was officially launched within the frame of ECIS (European Conference of Information System). The conference took place in the very well-known ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. The first E-learning course in Spanish (TERP10) will start in the fall of this year, offering to Spanish students the opportunity to gain theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of SAP ERP, as well as gaining an official SAP consultant certification.
The ECIS event brought together professors and students from all over Europe. It was a great opportunity for professors to present the IT-projects their universities and business schools are developing. Students had the chance to get an insight of those projects and learn about the required skills to be part of them.
Additionally the conference was a great opportunity to network and to get valuable information from the companies and organizations presented there. erp4students were in the booth of SAP University Alliances, offering information regarding the e-learning program. Many professors were interested in the erp4students courses and will recommend the project to their students. Interested students, on the other hand, took the chance to get information on how to obtain an SAP certification.
Many of the professors we met at ECIS expressed the importance of developing SAP-skills for the current market situation. Every day there are more and more companies running their business processes with SAP solutions, which makes young professionals with SAP knowledge highly sought-after.
