Job Profile: SAP End User

Imagine the following: you are an employee of a company, no matter in which industry, and you sell goods that have to be produced, for example. For this, you have to procure the individual parts that regulate finances, accounting, controlling, sales, logistics and/or personnel administration. In all these business processes, there are tons of data involved that you cannot handle analogously. Therefore, enterprise resource planning software is used that maps and handles these processes. This way, the company saves time, money and capacity, provided that the employees are capable of dealing with the existing system, and provided that the system has been adapted and implemented according to the needs of the company. Not every company is the same and not every department carries out or requires the same procedures and processes. Therefore, SAP offers a wide range of individual solutions. As a user, you are responsible for working with these solutions and controlling and executing the processes (of your department) within the company and the day-to-day businesses.

SAP FI in utilization:

As an end user, you come into contact with SAP FI primarily in the commercial area, specifically in financial accounting. If you work as an FI end user, company accounting is your area of responsibility. Here, you deal with the general ledger accounts and also with accounts receivable and payable accounting, investment and bank accounting. With the help of SAP FI, you will not only record all business transactions seamlessly and systematically, but also make the preparation of the balance sheet and the income statement. For example, SAP FI tracks special G/L transactions and supports dunning and payment transactions as well as activities in the individual financial statements.

You are not that much interested in consulting, but rather in the concrete handling of a specific SAP solution as an end user? You would like to gain practical experience with, for example, SAP S/4HANA or SAP FI during your studies and thereby increase your chances on the job market? Then our modules of SAP S/4HANA and SAP FI are just the right choice!

SAP Data Analyst:

Your role as a data analyst is to analyze, structure, and (in terms of information technology) continuously improve the processes within a company, so that both the company and its employees can work optimally. For this, you have to pay close attention to the needs of your customers and develop specific solutions based on their requirements. Your ideas and results will then be checked for feasibility together with the IT department and then implemented accordingly. The aim is to develop and implement new products for old and current problems while complying with the (economic) quality standard desired by the company you are working with/for. Data analysts are BW power users and generate in-depth information requests that go beyond the capabilities of simple information consumers. You can freely move through the data provided and use different tools to obtain other extracts or views on the data. The focus is less on the technical aspects of the BW solution, as this target group uses SAP BW tools with the intention of solving a concrete business problem. Typical representatives of this group are controller or financial analysts.

You are not that much interested in consulting, but rather in the concrete handling of a specific SAP solution as a user? You would like to gain practical experience with SAP BW during your studies and thereby increase your chances on the job market? Then our SAP BW on HANA module is just the right choice!
