Anyone who wants to learn SAP needs more than theoretical knowledge. It is the intensive practical work within the SAP system that truly helps participants understand business processes, workflows, and system relationships.
For many years, erp4students has therefore focused on practice-oriented learning with direct work in the SAP system. Participants work on real case studies, solve practical business tasks, and gain valuable experience working with SAP applications and business processes. In each course, participants work live with an SAP system for approximately 60 hours.
Understanding Theory – Applying It in Practice
Many topics can be explained theoretically. However, especially with complex ERP systems such as SAP, real understanding is often only achieved through active application.
In erp4students courses, participants therefore work intensively directly within a realistic SAP business environment. There, they can independently execute processes, understand system relationships, and practically apply typical business workflows. In each course, participants work live with an SAP system for approximately 60 hours.
This approach not only creates theoretical knowledge, but also practical confidence in working with SAP.
Why Practical SAP Experience Matters
Practical work within the SAP system offers many advantages:
- business processes become easier to understand
- SAP interfaces and transactions can be handled more confidently
- theoretical knowledge can be applied directly
- knowledge is retained more sustainably
- entering internships, working student positions, or a first job becomes easier
Especially when starting a career, employers often expect candidates to already have initial exposure to SAP systems. Practical SAP experience can therefore be a significant advantage.
Learning in a Practical SAP System Environment
During the course period, participants receive access to an SAP business environment specifically prepared for their respective course. There, content can be tested directly and explored in practice — independent of time and location.
The combination of theoretical foundations, practical assignments, and direct work within the SAP system creates a hands-on learning experience and prepares participants specifically for SAP certifications and career entry into the SAP environment.
